We first talked with the Kensworth Village Hall committee group some time ago. They were wanting to reopen after lockdown and finding it impossible to find a cleaner or even one who said they would turn up when required.
This held back the opening as the hall is run by a team of volunteers who had jobs and other commitments and not able to carry out the cleaning themselves.
We carried out a meet and greet meeting and provided a detailed quote and from there the cleaning began. Various days are covered and times vary also but as we have a team of staff we are always able to provide our service whether it is 7am in the morning or 10pm at night.
We have been cleaning the village hall since it reopened after lockdown.
Initially due to only few bookings we were only carrying out a few cleans a week in small areas as the kitchen or toilets were not open.
The Hall had a COVID inspection and passed with flying colours. The inspector was impressed with the village hall processes and also our standards, our understanding of COVID and our staff handbook which includes all risk assessments and COSHH paperwork.
When the kitchen area opened the oven was booked in for a clean also earlier in the year we redecorated the outsides of the venue.
Developing trust is a major part of who we are and due to our community of trades we are able to offer many services within with the same professional and consistent approach.
Recently when talking with the committee they said the following:
“We need the hall to be clean, because that is one of the main selling points. We
get complements how much cleaner the hall is compared to others in the
area”

We clean many office areas some small business and some larger.
We also clean serviced offices such as OX9 in Thame. This office space is high spec and with this the clean needs to be the same.
The management are busy running the business and bringing in new clients to take on the rental of spaces and hire out meeting rooms. Not to mention the further development of office space on their other sites.
Chiltern Services Hub clean 5 evenings a week and many areas are cleaned every day some are on a rota. This means the management can forget about the cleaning and hygiene in the building. We have been cleaning here for around 18 months now and a clean has never been missed.
As we carry out other services such as decorating and maintenance work we have also decorated areas at the OX9 offices and carried out maintenance tasks, saving the management time on quotes and outsourcing further.

We understand that as a landlord your main priority is having the income coming in each month from your tenants.
Sometimes the tenant moves out or is moved on and then you the landlord are left with a property that its no longer safe to rent out due to the condition it has been left in. This may include major rubbish issues, hoarding issues, blood, body fluids or even needles.
This can be a shocking situation and can affect landlords in many ways.
Initially you may contact a general end of tenancy cleaner. However, very quickly you will recognise that this is a specialist clean and these companies will not be willing or able to carry out this work.
You then just do not know which way to turn. The letting agents say the property is not safe to go in and from the photos they send this is confirmed.
Often at this stage some time lapses and landlords can feel lost and stuck.
We are able to help. We carry out this work daily and are here with the experience and understanding to bring your property back to a condition where it is ready to be re let and bring you income in again. We have a systematic approach which includes correct working practice, correct use of products and tools, correct PPE and waste removal and recording.
Last week we were at a property in Milton Keynes doing just this. The letting agents and landlord had contacted numerous people for a quote. Most just said plain “no” on the phone. One person said “yes I can do this” they went and looked at the property but a quote was never received, even after many times attempting to chase this up.
Luckily, one Saturday afternoon when searching on google the landlord came across us and instantly the stress was handed over. We said yes we can do this. Within 24 hours we had visited the property, sent a quote to the landlord and arranged a start date.
The landlord had some concerns and questions, which we were able to answer. The landlord was keen to keep what furniture he could. We explained we would communicate throughout and discussed daily regarding what could stay and what needed to go. The landlord was keen to keep the underlay. However, due to the amount of body fluid on the carpets the underlay had to go.
Most furniture was also discarded, but luckily the appliances were fine.
Over 1000 needles were recovered. The team at Chiltern Services Hub spent time going through everything including emptying over 80 bags of rubbish stored in the property ensuring no needles escaped our attention. This attention to detail is essential as one needle left could cause a life threatening disease and a stressful wait for test results should just one prick the skin of someone.
Now 5 days after the start date and a week after first contact the property is ready to go back out on the market once it has been re carpeted and refurnished.
